Abstract

This article reinterprets road cinema through the transformations of contemporary audiovisual language. Through a historical-critical analysis of key case studies in the genre’s genealogy and a personal authorial project (Corsa abusiva), it examines the automobile as a narrative and perceptual device capable of reshaping the relationship between cinematic space, subjectivity, and spectatorship. The road becomes a medial environment reflecting contemporary social and aesthetic tensions.
