Abstract

The article proposes post-spectatorship as a key concept for interpreting cinema’s contemporary condition. In an intermedial ecosystem, viewing becomes a participatory and distributed experience, where spectators take on multiple roles between consumption and content production. Through the analysis of new viewing dynamics and fan-based practices, spectatorship emerges as a relational and co-evolutionary process.
